2. Pharmacological action of the extract
1) Antibacterial effect:
Burdock fruit water infusion has different degrees of inhibitory effects on various pathogenic fungi such as Trichophyton concentricum, Microsporum audouin, Epidermophyton inguinale, and Nocardia star in test tubes. 100% water decoction has inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus.
2) Anticancer effect:
The crude extract of Arctium Fructus is selectively toxic, and a lower amount can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and make tumor cells approach normal cells.
3) Effects on immune function:
Burdock fruit extract can enhance the immune function of the body, significantly increase the transformation rate of lymphocytes in normal mice and the positive rate of α-acetase in mice, and significantly increase the formation of cells in the body , to increase the phagocytic function of mouse macrophages.
4) Anti-nephropathy effect:

Campanulaceae and Fritillaria are equally used; if it is used for sore throat, it can be used with Scutellaria baicalensis, Coptis chinensis, Shegan, and Shandougen.
2. It is used for poor penetration of measles and prurigo. It is often combined with cicada slough, mint, nepeta, kudzu root, etc., such as bamboo leaf willow root soup.
